Airtopia’s Multipoint Series is a range of Smart Air Management products designed for direct interface with Building Management Systems. They take HVAC control past just managing comfort and economy, to a new focus on individual wellbeing.
Increasingly accurate temperature control is not enough. Maximum energy efficiency, without reducing comfort, comes from precise and accurate control of multiple factors, and in managed environments being able to communicate directly with the system is yet another requirement.
The Multipoint Series combine temperature, relative humidity, and carbon dioxide density monitoring into a single inconspicuous wall module. They provide precise and reliable measurement for visual display and timely control of climate equipment through any building management system. There are also options without CO2 monitoring.
The highest heating or cooling efficiency is obtained in airtight spaces, but research shows an occupied airtight space can quickly reach carbon dioxide levels that exceed the recommended maximums.
CO2 levels as low as 1,500ppm begin to impair health and cognitive function, leading to increased error rate, decreased productivity and an increase in absenteeism. CO2 levels between 2,000 and 5,000ppm have been found to be typical in closed classrooms and offices.
Multipoint is the air manager to target total wellbeing in all indoor environments. Air management functions are directed through the building’s management system with exacting care. These directives can be based on inbuilt sensors as well as via an external source and an digital input terminal. Options also include local visual indication.
Automatic functions can be integrated through a simple protocol and multiple modules can be networked for global monitoring and management. Advanced remote access is available with additional equipment.
